The Chain Rule:
If \(g\) is differentiable at \(x\) and \(f\) is differentiable at \(g(x)\) then \(f(g(x))\) is differentiable at \(x\) and

\frac{d}{dx}[f(g(x))] = f'(g(x))g'(x).
$$
